Wedding Cakes

Often a main focal point of the reception, the wedding cake is also an important part of the decor and must be aligned with the inspired feel of the event.  I am very excited that our cake will be coming from Konditor Meister in Boston - Yum! (thanks Aunt Andy!) Since we have yet to pick out flavor or design I have now begun scavenging for ideas... starting with these from the master - Martha Stewart.

And I love the idea of a cupcake tree - so cute - maybe for the shower? (hint hint)

Autumn Brown and Beautiful

The brown is so warm yet chic, and the use of birdseed - such a great texture.  And I love the pussy willows; they have great height but are airy enough not to obstruct the view across the table.
